Gavin Newsom has just figured out a way to raise more money for California.
Newsome is going to implement a new tax.
The interesting aspect of it is that he wants to tax people even if they no longer live there!

The new tax would add a 1.5 percent tax liability to anyone worth more than $1 billion.
Newsom would like to tax even those that have left the state.

Big money is already running, and this will make them run even quicker.
Bay Area Council CEO Jim Wunderman stated, “It sounds really dangerous and foolish.
“A California wealth tax would only increase California’s dependence on the minute number of people who are bearing the burden of supporting the state’s expenditures.
“We’ve already lost many of these folks — who have taken their businesses, investments and jobs to other states.
“It’s past time to reassess our tax structure to create a system that’s fair and equitable and resilient in the face of downturns.”
If Newsom keeps this up, he will turn California into a ghost town.
