It’s no secret that Joe Biden is slowly losing his grip on the Democrat ticket for 2024.
With every passing day, more and more people are questioning whether he will remain at the top of the ticket or if someone else may eventually take his place.
To make matters worse, even Barack Obama appears to be getting behind this idea, as reports have surfaced that he has been meeting with young Democrats about potentially replacing Biden.
But what does this all mean and why is it happening?
According to sources, Obama has held meetings with some younger members of the Democrat Caucus in order to discuss a potential replacement for Biden atop the Democrat ticket in 2024.
While those who were invited to sit down with Obama have remained tight-lipped about the agenda of these meetings, speculation is now running wild over their purpose.
Officially, these meetings were tagged as Obama offering his wisdom to the next generation of Democrats but few are buying into that narrative – especially considering how vocal Obama has been in supporting Biden’s run for President in recent months.
Another source stated “Obama recognizes the gravity of the situation with Joe’s disappointing poll numbers… He had hoped that [Joe] would have rallied and come into his own at this point but that clearly hasn’t happened… With [2024] growing closer and closer he had to act since he apparently fears Joe is getting too old and frail to win.”
These statements lead us to believe that perhaps a plan was already put in place by Obama long ago should things not work out with Joe as their candidate – which appears to be case now given all these talks around replacing him.
At this point there isn’t much more information available on whether Biden will actually be replaced or not but one thing remains clear: anyone can speculate all they want until someone goes on record about it officially.
