A small business owner in California just went off on some public health inspectors after they issued him a citation. His restaurant has been struggling all year and he’s reached the breaking point. California has imposed some of the most draconian COVID-19 lockdowns in the country.

California governor destroying small business

Two county health inspectors showed up at the “Nick The Greek” restaurant in Ventura California to issue a citation for staying open amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The owner, Anton Van Happen, insisted his restaurant was only doing curb side pick up. Things got heated and Anton started shouting at the inspectors, “Are you going to pay my rent?” Check out the video below.

That video is hard to watch. You can hear the pain and frustration in the man’s voice. A hard working business owner, just trying to do the right thing. Obeying the lockdown orders but still trying to sell some food so he can keep the doors open and pay his bills. But no, California Governor Gavin Newsom has other plans.

Newsom just issued the most strict COVID-19 lockdown orders yet. This is nine months after the initial “Fifteen Days To Stop The Spread” campaign. Now millions of Californians are seeing restaurants shuttered, playgrounds roped off and hair salons closed. “If we don’t act now our hospital system will be overwhelmed. If we don’t act now we’ll continue to see our death rate climb.” Governor Newsom said.

The COVID lockdowns continue

The governor also said people should call off all nonessential travel. King Newsom’s orders come shortly after he returned from a week-long vacation in Hawaii, where he wined and dined with his billionaire corporate sponsors at a luxury beach resort. In July, Newsom ordered bars and restaurants closed in the state while he kept his PlumpJack winery open to the public. What a complete scumbag.

People have had enough. Residents are leaving California in droves. Many of them are heading to Texas. Senator Ted Cruz, R-TX., recently posted a picture of the huge difference in U-Haul rates going from LA to Austin and back. The trend is clear. Californians are heading to Texas. And so are big businesses. Oracle, Tesla and Hewlett Packard are just three major corporations that decided to give Newsom the finger and move on down to the Lone Star State. Hopefully their employees ditch their Left-wing voting habits at the border. Texas is MAGA country.
