The last time Helmuth Kolb tried to buy a child for sexual purposes he offered twice that much. He seems to think all of his sick and twisted needs can be met at the local supermarket.
Pervert on the prowl
According to police in the town of Port Orange, Florida, pervert Hellmuth Kolb, a registered sex offender, attempted to “purchase” a “young girl from her parents.”
He offered them a fast $100,000 but they didn’t consider the offer for a second. Well, they considered it sick and twisted but they were quick to say “no.” They called the cops, too. Not quick enough but they caught up to him eventually.
The episode of real life drama unfolded at the Winn Dixie grocery store on August 16. The parents notified them immediately after the pervert “allegedly attempted to purchase the child away from per parents,” the report confirms.
They opened an investigation but didn’t connect Kolb up right away. It was probably a search of their database for similar crimes which tipped them in his direction.
Kolb was arrested without incident on August 25, police explain. They dropped him off at the Volusia County Branch Jail. They note that when he “attempted to purchase the female child for $100,000.00,” he was “insistent” on making the exchange.
They verified that the pervert “is a registered sex offender, is on probation for similar issues, and is not allowed to have any contact with minor children.”
Stick to grocery shopping
The police department Facebook page posted that “Mr. Kolb should have simply stuck to just grocery shopping. Thanks to our SIU, Mr. Kolb did receive a complimentary ride in one of our air-conditioned Police cars, and a free stay at Hotel 92.”
That’s the colloquial name for their local lockup, the Volusia County Branch Jail. This isn’t the first time the pervert tried the exact same thing.
The reason Helmuth Kolb was listed as a pervert sex offender is because he tried the exact same stunt back in 2018. That’s when he walked up to a woman in Walmart and offered to buy her 8-year-old daughter. Right then and there, cash on the spot.
She didn’t go for the deal but wondered to police at the time who might have taken him up on the offer in the past. Police don’t have any hard evidence he was ever successful.
One thing that stands out like a neon sign in this latest incident at the grocery store, is the pervert hasn’t kept up with our inflationary times. Being on the registered sex offender list may have cut into his income, or perhaps his investments aren’t performing as well under Joe Biden.
Whatever the reason, back in 2018, he had enough money in his pocket to offer 200k. This time around, he’s down to a measly 100k. That proves he’s a total amateur. As Michael Jackson proved, buying a child costs $23 million.
