There is zero doubt that Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) misled the American people during the Trump impeachment.
We know for a fact that Schiff lied about the FISA warrants.
He also lied about information that had been leaked to the media.
To that point, a censure resolution was pushed by Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) this week.
Guilty
The vote hit the floor right along political lines, much as expected.
The censure measure passed 213-209.
This makes Schiff only the third congressman this century to face such a censure.
If I were Rep. Boebert, I would have been watching this very closely.
Boebert has articles of impeachment she wants on the floor in the House, but I would not be so confident of them passing right now.
Schiff is despised by the GOP, and you see how close this vote was.
Boebert will have a far more difficult time getting those votes for Biden, ending up with egg on her face if she fails to get the measure passed.
More importantly, if she fails, she gives Biden and Democrats more ammo for the 2024 cycle.
