Bernie Sanders is starting to pick up a huge chunk of the support from progressive Democrats, what we would refer to as socialists here on the right, and it scares the living hell out of the Democrat party.
Now that Bernie Sanders’ campaign is starting to talk a little trash, Democrats are worried that Sanders could be handing the election to Donald Trump.
The blame game in the Democrat party is at top-notch levels.
We saw this when Hillary lost to Trump, as Democrats looked for just about any and all reasons to blame the loss not on the fact nobody really like or trusted Hillary but rather on just about anything else you could think of, including now-debunked Russian conspiracy theory.
Also at the top of that list, though, was Bernie Sanders.
Toward the end of the primary, Bernie Sanders had no problem calling out all of Hillary’s misdeeds.
Not only that, he helped expose the corruption from within the party in terms of the abuse of the Super Delegate system.
Dems truly believe Bernie Sanders was a key reason they failed in 2016 and now they are worried he is about to do the same thing to them this time around.
Calling Out Bernie
Primaries are interesting in that the candidates want to win, but the party hopes nobody starts slinging mud to expose the closets of the other contenders.
Sanders, however, does not seem to have a problem doing that because he honestly believes his own communist-loving past is without fault.
He knows deep down inside that beyond his base and some progressive stragglers, it will be hard for him to win a primary race.
A bigger field, however, works in Sanders’ favor.
The more he can discredit a bulk field, the more likely he is to get some of the drippings.
If Sanders can get it to the point that he only needs around 25 percent to win, he will have a real shot as candidates like Warren start to fall out, which is why he is attacking her now.
Warren recently stated, “I was disappointed to hear that Bernie is sending his volunteers out to trash me.
“I hope Bernie reconsiders and turns his campaign in a different direction.”
Sanders is also going after Biden, painting him as an easy target for Trump, stating, “Joe Biden is a personal friend of mine, so I’m not here to, you know, to attack him, but my God, if you are, if you’re a Donald Trump and got Biden having voted for the war in Iraq, Biden having voted for these terrible, in my view, trade agreements, Biden having voted for the bankruptcy bill. Trump will eat his lunch.”
Democrats are starting to get pissy about it too, with one strategist saying, “He needs to stop.
“It’s not helpful and it actually hurts the party. It’s like he didn’t learn his lesson the last time. It’s incredibly short-sighted and terrible.”
The entire Democrat party knows they are corrupt or they would not be begging Sanders to shut his hole.
Furthermore, if Sanders is the best candidate in terms of honesty and record, why are Dems so worried about what he is saying about the other candidates?
Clearly, Sanders is the enemy within the Democrat party and while they may take his money, they surely do not want him on that dais come election day representing their party.
