Bernie Sanders has been on the front lines demanding that Trump be impeached from the outset.
Now that it is actually happening, Bernie sounds a bit remiss that his senatorial duties are conflicting with his presidential campaign.
Rather Be in Iowa
When Berne Sanders was recently asked about his thoughts on having to be in session during the impeachment, he sounded less than pleased.
All things considered, Bernie stated that he would rather be in Iowa…

Big Price
The Democrats got what they wanted and have been working so hard to achieve since November 8, 2016.
By midnight of that night, it became clear Donald Trump was the next president, which set a lot of wheels in motion.
Democrats already had the wheels spun up on Russian collusion, but they have plenty of other angles to attack Trump in an effort to undermine his presidency and possibly remove him from office.
Sanders was among those leading the charge, calling the president a racist, sexist, and any other “ist” word he could think of.
Sanders wanted Trump impeached just as much as any other Democrats, but now it would appear he is not really looking forward to doing his duty.
You see, when an impeachment trial is underway, Senators are required to be in-session six days a week, without exception.
Since the articles of impeachment were delayed for three weeks, this now means those duties are going to have to be carried out during the key days leading up to the first caucuses and primary elections, which brings us to our next point…
Was This Planned?
I have been spinning a theory from day one that I believed Pelosi was going to weaponize the impeachment not only against Trump but also to ensure Joe Biden won the nomination.
Notice how Pelosi was hesitant to launch the impeachment until Joe Biden started to drop in polling.
Now, with Biden actually trailing in some polls, the impeachment is launched, then the articles are delayed.
Had Pelosi sent the articles before Christmas, this trial would probably be close to over by now.
Instead, the meat of it is going to happen in the two weeks prior to the opening of voting for the 2020 presidential primary.
Because Biden’s top two opponents are sitting senators, their campaign time will be cut dramatically short.
If Sanders and Warren were able to be on the ground, as usual, make no mistake about it, Biden could have possibly come out of the first primary states in third or fourth place.
Now, he may come out in the lead, giving his campaign a boost rather than a flat tire.
It sure sounds awful convenient that an establishment and corrupt Democrat is about to benefit and the two candidates the Democrat party would most likely NOT want to see win the nomination are the ones being penalized.
As Jethro Gibbs says, “I don’t believe in coincidences.”
Schumer and Sanders should just get the hell out. The both have been in office way to long and to old
That could possibly be Pelosi’s plan. She is devious.
BUT, we also now know that she was holding off on delivering the papers to the Senate because she was waiting for her signature pens to arrive, which she had ordered, with her signature and bullet-tipped points (a veiled threat to President Trump) – so that she could make a BIG SHOW of signing the papers – one letter of her name at a time with a different pen – & give out those (contaminated, vile) pens to her evil cohorts! And GLOAT all the while! (Watch out for Karma, Piglosi – & the rest of your pig-stye!)

How much more before you stand up to those who have made the following lessons learned facts?
1. The American people are the most effectively lied to people in modern times thanks primarily to the American political class, the American bureaucracy, the American media, and American academia.
2. Arrogance coupled with ignorance equals stupidity.
3. The greatest threats to the American people are the corrupt and/or incompetent politicians/bureaucrats/academicians found at every level of government/academia, and the majority of the American so-called media.
4. Most of the politicians/bureaucrats/academicians I have encountered during my years as a soldier/cop I most kindly refer to as; self-serving, witless, cowards.
5. The American Profession of Arms and our brothers/sisters in blue have failed to protect the American people from all of their enemies, both foreign and most especially domestic.

PS These lessons learned were first presented to a gathering of Americans in 1989. The only positive change to the American political environment since then has been the arrival of one, Donald J. Trump! Since D.J. Trump took office I have added two more lessons learned thanks to the overall behavior of the parties highlighted in lessons learned 1-3 above. Seems approximately 25% of the American population has declared war on the rest of the nation!
6. After carefully watching the whole of the political class since Donald J. Trump walked down that escalator in Trump Tower to date, I can say without reservation that most of the group will sell their souls and our bodies just to remain in power. (Added 2019)
