Chuck Schumer: Trump Has ‘Made a Mess of Foreign Policy’

Chuck Schumer sees Donald Trump’s foreign policy much differently than many of his supporters.

After the attack against Iran’s General Soleimani, Senator Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y) stated, “Let’s face it, this president has made a mess of foreign policy.

“North Korea, they’re much stronger than they were when he started.

“In Syria, he messed up, every encounter he has with (Russian President Vladimir) Putin he loses.”

Can’t Trust Trump

The Democrat party has been against Trump from day one, but we were hoping that considering the attacks Iran has carried out against the United States and our allies, Dems would provide a united front.

Instead, people like AOC are calling Trump a monster, Michael Moore is DMing the Ayatollah and asking for mercy, and Schumer is calling Trump someone that is “bumbling” this entire situation.

Schumer stated, “I think Congress and I will do everything I can to assert our authority.

“We do not need this president either bumbling or impulsively getting us into a major war.”

Nobody Wants War But…

To be very clear, we are all looking for ways to get out of the Middle East, not increase our presence there.

However, Iran has clearly been the instigator here and we simply can no longer allow them to dictate how this all plays out.

Until proven otherwise, we have to take out State Department at face value when it says Soleimani was planning an imminent attack against the United States.

More than likely, this attack was against our ships in the Strait of Hormuz or one of our military bases.

Iran has been looking for war for months, so taking out their top general was a warning shot that Trump is hoping Iran takes as a deterrent rather than an act of war.

We can only hope if Iran chooses to escalate this further, Democrats act like Americans rather than terrorist sympathizers and get behind Trump to completely defeat Iran and end this threat once and for all.
