There is blood in the water around Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, and Democrats are pouncing.

This is pretty much a manufactured scandal by Democrats, and now we know why.

The fundraising letters are flying, as Dems are using a crisis they created to drive fundraising donations.

Slimy

The letter from Senator Whitehouse (D-RI) was comical.

He literally could have been describing himself in the letter.

Whitehouse wrote, “You’ve got creepy right-wing billionaires, phony front groups, justices amenable to overtures, large sums of money, and secrecy.

“And in recent months we’ve had a front-row seat, thanks to Justice Thomas, to see how these ingredients mix to tarnish the judicial branch.”

Whitehouse belongs to an all-white beach club, is rich, and is forgetting the fact that more than 1,000 trips were paid for by Democrat donors for liberal Supreme Court justices over the last decade or so.

Earlier this year, Democrats wrote to Chief Justice Roberts trying to get them to investigate Justice Thomas.

At the time, they wrote, “Now the court faces a crisis of public confidence in its ethical standards that must be addressed.

“In the coming days, the Senate Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing regarding the need to restore confidence in the Supreme Court’s ethical standards.

“And if the court does not resolve this issue on its own, the committee will consider legislation to resolve it.”

Roberts told them to go pound sand, then sent them a copy of the code of ethics that the Supreme Court uses for its justices.

Like I said… manufactured crisis and now we know why… to raise money.
