Ladies and gentlemen, it would appear that Senator Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) is covering up Senator Feinstein’s (D-CA) mental state.
I would actually fault every member of the Senate on both sides, as they have almost daily interaction with this woman.
Insider reporter Bryan Metzger’s report shows that she is very clearly slipping into the abyss and should no longer be in office.
What Are You Saying?
Several months ago, there was a report of Feinstein getting agitated with a reporter for asking Feinstein a question about a vote.
Feinstein had completely forgotten her position and even verbalized that she had no idea what anyone was talking about.
Metzger had a similar interaction with her on Tuesday regarding Feinstein pulling back her consideration as Senate pro tem, which would put her third in line to serve as president behind Kamala Harris and the House Speaker.
When Metzger asked the Senator about it, she responded, “Well, I haven’t thought about it, but I’ll let you know when I do.
“I just got back, I’ve had a lot of issues.”
Her aide interjected that she had already told reporters she would not be putting her name in for consideration, adding, “That’s what you’ve told reporters.”
She responded, “I don’t know what you’re saying.”
The aide replied, “This is about the Senate pro tem position.”
Feinstein shot back, “Well, I haven’t said anything about it that I know of.”
Her aide reiterated, “You were asked about it over the break, and you put out a statement saying that you had no intention of running for it.”
She then replied, “Okay, well, then, I guess it’s out.”
How can Schumer possibly allow this woman to serve in office?
Why is Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) not demanding she be removed from office and is no longer fit to serve?
And why isn’t anyone, including her own staff, concerned about this woman’s health?
Is Schumer so desperate to maintain his majority that he is willing to allow this to continue for two more years?
