I have never seen such a weak lot of judiciary nominees in my life.
Senator Kennedy (R-LA) has made fools of many of them, and he is not even trying that hard.
Kennedy is asking basic questions, and these people just keep tripping over themselves.
Big Dummy
The latest to fail the test was Sara E. Hill, who has been nominated for district judge in the Northern District of Oklahoma.
One of the most basic premises of law is a stay and injunction, but Hill could not answer the question.
When asked, she responded, “A stay order would prohibit, um, sorry. An injunction would restrain the parties from taking action.
“A stay order … I’m not sure I can, actually can, can give you that.”
Before that fiasco, Kennedy had asked her to define collateral estoppel, and that was an even worse disaster…
What is even more infuriating was that Chairman Durbin (D-IL) congratulated her on passing the “Kennedy Bar Exam” when the questioning session was over.
This woman needs to go back to law school, not sitting on a bench.
But, don’t worry, the Dems will pass her through like they have done with all the other unqualified judiciary candidates Biden has sent to the committee.
