Recently, former President Barack Obama made a statement condemning the banning of books that contain pornographic material and suggesting that libraries should make them available to children.
His brother, Malik Obama, responded by saying “This man is definitely gay.” The tweet has since been deleted but it nevertheless sparked an uproar among conservatives.

At the heart of this controversy lies the disagreement between conservatives and Barack Obama over his support for books containing pornographic material being available to children in libraries.
Many conservatives believe that such books should not be allowed because they are inappropriate and could lead to negative outcomes such as increased pornography consumption by minors or even sexual exploitation of minors.
Furthermore, many parents fear that these books might have a detrimental effect on their children’s development and moral upbringing.
Although Malik Obama quickly removed his tweet after posting it, it was enough to cause an uproar among conservatives.
So why would Malik say something like this about his own brother?
At the end of the day, only time will tell if Malik’s comments were true or just another attempt at stirring up controversy within politics today but either way it has certainly gotten people talking.
