Third Senator Meets With WE THE PEOPLE – Democrats Welcome Too

Senator

On Friday, two patriotic Americans — who happen to be riding along with the People’s Convoy — sat down for a private meeting in the office of Alaska Senator Dan Sullivan. While he’s alleged to be a republican, all members of the House and Senate, Democrat, Socialist, and Republican, are encouraged to meet with We the People at the convoy encampment in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Another Senator listens

You may have noticed that the main stream media isn’t saying a whole lot about the People’s Convoy. What they are saying is mostly misinformation and they’re being hammered incessantly for doing it. So far, Senators Ted Cruz and Ron Johnson sat down for one very public meeting.

Cruz followed that up with a trip to the encampment to meet with We the People personally and express his support. A third senator stepped up on Friday, sort of.

Rachel,” known to all the convoy attendees as being in charge of the “medical trailer,” is from Texas. She tagged along with Randy Jackson of Haines, Alaska to meet his voice in the upper chamber. Taking time away from her duties was made possible by the team of 17-18 volunteers she left back at the trailer.

Rachel had a few things of her own to tell to Senator Sullivan about the situation America’s health care professionals find themselves in, even if he doesn’t represent her directly.

The meeting scheduled for March 11 was NOT a People’s Convoy event. If Sullivan had been willing to allow the official livestream producer to document what was said, for We the People to observe, then it would have been. Randy notes that Brian Brase still offered to sit in for moral support as just another American but Randy opted to handle it on his own, constituent to senator, one-on-one the way it’s supposed to be.

He’s really glad he had Rachel along though. Between the two of them, they did their best to “represent the voices that are out here today,” he told everyone at the nightly meeting.

Contact your congressman

The biggest thing Randy brought back from the meeting with his senator is “if you have an ability to contact your congressman, do so.” He also gave a big shout out to everyone who melted down Dan Sullivan’s phone lines. They “gave him an earful for not going on livestream with us.

As Randy observed, “it’s real hard to get a word in edgewise with a professional politician but Rachel and I did our part.” They passed along We the People’s two objectives. One: End the state of Covid emergency. Two: remind our elected officials “THEY WORK FOR US.” Most importantly, they gave Senator Sullivan a face to “put with this group here.

Everyone, Randy declares after seeing firsthand how Washington works, should identify their representatives and “put in that effort. Get on the phone, get on the email, light them up. Let them know ‘we’re here.” Randy pointed out that his senator does appear to support the convoy. He’s also been vocal on the Senate floor pushing to repeal the Emergency Powers act. He’s against the omnibus bill and will “vote no on that crap.” If they don’t stand up strong, listening to your voices, then they’re out.

All politicians are invited to drop in on the convoy camp anytime. Actions speak louder than words. On Sunday, Pennsylvania state senator Doug Mastriano took them up on the invitation. He didn’t get real specific because he was warned in no uncertain terms not to make promises unless he planned to follow through on them. What he did say is that he’s running for Governor. One thing is crystal clear, he knows which side of the publicity he wants to be on ahead of November.

Rachel had a bunch of things to say of her own, as a medical professional on the front lines. Dan Sullivan made it clear he represents Alaska not Texas but this affects everyone. Especially exemptions for medical care workers. They made it through a whole year of Covid without any protection, now they’re getting fired. Worse, they can’t even get new jobs. What she has to say about her attempt to get a religious exemption is appalling. We need to educate ourselves on the law and stick with it. She emphasized the vaccine injuries and deaths.

Your calls work. When they left they were asked “please tell everyone to stop calling.” The senator was out of voicemail space. The run around the beltway as Mr. Jackson met with Senator Sullivan underscored the seriousness of his informal meeting. The convoy on Friday was “awesome.” Randy was thankful for the convoy literally “backing us up today.” The convoy let the cars and 4-wheelers roll out first because it’s We the People in this protest, not just truckers. Kid Cowboy totally blew that stereotype out of the water. Then he got branded the same as a domestic terrorist for wearing a Let’s Go Brandon hoodie on his way home to California.
