When House Speaker Kevin McCarthy found out that Donald Trump was a target of special counsel Jack Smith’s investigation of January 6, 2021, he blasted the biased and corrupt Just Us Department for their day and night methods.
McCarthy stands up
As California Republican Kevin McCarthy points out, the way agents investigate crimes committed by high profile Democrats is a whole lot different from the way all the other ones are handled.
When it comes to Donald Trump, the Federal Bureau of Instigation went after him hard. They made up evidence as they went along, got caught for that and suffered no consequences. Now, they’re still trying to frame the only real opponent Joe Biden has.
They want to put him in jail for at least 400 years because he’s expected to win the next election. The swamp doesn’t like that idea at all. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy may have RINO tendencies but he’s keeping them in the closet these days.

On Tuesday, July 18, rightful President Donald Trump sent shock waves across Washington by announcing he was briefed by his lawyers about a letter. One informing them that Trump is a “target” of Jack Smith’s Capitol riot probe. They expect yet another indictment any time now, accusing Trump of causing the barbarian insurrection.
That’s a surprisingly bold move for the grand inquisitor, considering all the evidence suggesting the FBI was behind it all. That’s something which will surely come out in court if this farce manages to make it that far.
“I guess, under a Biden administration, Biden America, you’d expect this,” McCarthy told the press. “Recently, President Trump went up in the polls and was actually surpassing President Biden for re-election. So what do they do now? Weaponize government to go after their number one opponent.”

Public fed up with it
That’s not going over well with voters. The public, McCarthy added, is “tired” of the obvious weaponization of government. That’s putting it mildly. Crime has become a meaningless word with shoplifters allowed to walk away with all they can carry while Joe Biden gets a free pass on bribery and money laundering, for starters.
Even Democrats on the street are beginning to see that Hunter Biden gets away with murder while Donald Trump would get the death penalty for jaywalking. They may be fat and lazy but Americans are finally getting angry enough to take action.
Grand Inquisitor Smith has been helming two separate federal investigations “revolving around Trump, with the other focusing on sensitive national security documents kept at the former president’s Mar-a-Lago resort.” McCarthy can see that this blatantly partisan persecution is motivated by fear and panic at the poll numbers.

Joe Biden is the one who belongs behind bars but Merrick Garland is the one really running this country. He’s keeping Joe and Hunter out of jail because if they go down, he goes down along with them. So does Christopher Wray and a whole bunch of others. Maybe even someday Hillary Clinton. Who knows where this rabbit hole could lead.
He may be a weak kneed “moderate” Republican politically but McCarthy owes a whole bunch of political favors to the hard right and they’re cashing them in on this one. In the past, he’s also “stood by the former president in his battles with federal prosecutors.” What he’s seeing now, he insists, is a “dark day” for America.
Recently, McCarthy dared to question the dogma. When he mentioned “the former president might not be the strongest Republican contender in the 2024 fray,” he almost got his ears ripped off. Especially after all that rightful President Donald Trump has been through, since the beginning, striving only to Make America Great Again. Nobody else even comes close to deserving the title President of the United States. Half of America is already treating him as one now.
