Texas Lands CRUSHING Blow Against Biden-Harris

I know that Texas Governor Greg Abbott has his detractors in Texas, even among Republicans, but he always put his state first.

I am not saying he is perfect, but the man always does what he believes is in the best interest of Texas, and I can respect and support that.

To that point, Texas just made a massive land buy so it can ramp up border wall construction amid an expected migrant surge.

Not Playing Games

The Texas General Land Office (GLO) just made a huge purchase of a ranch in Starr County, which is right along the Rio Grande, which sees some of the highest levels of illegal migrant crossings.

After Donald Trump lost the 2020 election, Governor Abbott started taking the immigration issue by the horns.

Abbott brought national attention to the immigration issue by busing migrants to sanctuary cities.

I have to admit, at first, I thought it was a PR stunt, but I was okay with that as long as it made Democrat cities in this country suffer the safe hardship Texas is suffering from.

Little did I know, this “stunt” would be responsible for putting immigration front and center in the media.

It was at that time that Abbott had also announced that funding was being approved for a state border wall project since Joe Biden had ended Trump’s project as soon as he took office.

This latest purchase is part of that program, with the state now holding some 4,000 acres in Starr County right along the border.

Texas Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham explained, “They said, ‘Look, it’s in the main area of where we’re seeing the traffic across the border. We have terrible things happening on this piece of property.

“The current owner is not only blocking the border wall, but she is blocking law enforcement’s access to that property.’

“‘And to really get complete operational control of the border, we really need to control this piece of ground.’ So we made her an offer. We found a way to purchase her ranch from her.”

Construction is expected to begin almost immediately, but this goes much further than just the wall.

According to Buckingham, this area is also where female migrants have been repeatedly raped and abused.

She explained, “It’s at an area of great impact, it’s in an area where we see lots of people coming across all of the time, not only seeing the people coming across, but seeing those women and children who are abused and victimized.

“We’re seeing drugs. We’re seeing weapons. We’re seeing all kinds of things coming across this particular part of the border.

“In fact, when we were touring it [Thursday], lots of trash everywhere. You can tell there have been a lot of people through there. So we think that this barrier, this wall that the Texas Facilities Commission will build, will help to control that traffic and hopefully shut it down.”

This is Governor Abbott working the problem rather than whining about it. Like I said, I don’t really care what anyone else says about him… Abbott has my full backing and support because he always puts Texas first.
