The finale dress that Heidi wore was a shiny short dress with an off-the-shoulder neckline.
A lot of people thought it was too tight, too low cut, and just plain tacky – not very befitting someone who is considered to be one of fashion’s greatest icons!
Viewers took to Twitter to voice their opinions on how inappropriate they thought this look was for Heidi – some said she looked like she should have been going to prom instead! Another person even wrote an entire critique about why they felt so strongly about Heidi’s outfit choice.
It seemed almost out of character for Heidi to choose something so provocative! After all, she has made it clear through her style choices over the years that she prefers comfort above all else when it comes to fashion.
She often mixes high fashion pieces with more relaxed items which makes it easier for people from different backgrounds and styles can relate to her looks – which is what makes them so cool in the first place.
So why did she choose such a tight, short dress? It seems like this could have been avoided if Heidi had stuck true to her signature style instead.
While we should always strive towards pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones when it comes to trying new trends or experimenting with bolder looks, there still needs be limits set on how far we go before crossing into inappropriate territory.
