Miles Taylor, the original Trump administration turncoat who penned the 2018 New York Times Op-Ed “I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration” an absolutely shameful hit-piece by a disaffected George W. Bush appointee, has slunk back out from the shadows to once again slander the President he betrayed. Taylor emerged from his irrelevancy to join The ReidOut on MSNBC to slanderously present his former employer as a greater National Security threat than “ISIS, Al Qaeda, and Russia”.
Taylor told Jason Johnson of MSBNC,
“I’ve spent my whole career not as a political operative. I’ve never worked on a campaign in my life other than campaigning against Trump. I’m a national security guy. I’ve worked in national security against ISIS, al Qaeda and Russia,”
“And the No. 1 national security threat I’ve ever seen in my life to this country’s democracy is the party that I’m in — the Republican Party. It is the No. 1 security national security threat to the United States of America,” he said.

The rare millennial RINO turncoat told Johnson, substituting for Joy-Ann Reid that “The House would become a “haunted House” if the GOP regains control of the lower chamber. He added that if Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) became Speaker, it would represent former President “Trump’s hand on that Speaker’s gavel.”
“If Kevin McCarthy continues to pay homage to a twice-impeached presidential loser, I think should give all Americans pause and make them worry about the future of this country and national security,”
Taylor concluded Johnson’s segment with disgraced Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-CA), the entire exercise seemed designed to push the narrative that the prospects for a fictitious Trump-led coup had some sort of legitimacy.

Two years after he was unceremoniously drummed out of the Department of Homeland Security as what White House spokesman Judd Deere called at the time “another creature of the D.C. Swamp who never understood the importance of the President’s agenda or why the American people elected him and clearly just wants to cash-in” he seems to be struggling for another headline. Deere and President Trump rejected Taylor’s fabricated Op-Ed out of hand along with his cash-grab “tell-all” book he released a year later.
One can only suspect the royalty checks are starting to dry up, so he needs to replace them with appearance fees. The slippery turncoat only has a limited time before Republicans retake control of Congress to make the most of the left’s insane paranoia over a “Trumpist Coup”, he needs to make it count.
