Venezuelans who recently got thrown back out of America are furious because Haitians just got the deal they were screwed out of. Joe Biden’s handlers blame it on “the deteriorating humanitarian crisis in the destitute Caribbean nation, which has been beset by an outbreak of violence in recent months.” The Biden regime announced they are “broadening” a program which “allows certain Haitian immigrants to live and work in the country without fear of deportation.”
Haitians welcome with open arms
Venezuelans were so last month. Today’s featured asylees are Haitians. According to the Ministry of Domestic Security (DHS), “tens of thousands” will be allowed to “apply for Temporary Protected Status.”
They did it with bureaucratic smoke and mirrors by “moving up the program’s cut-off date.” They sprang that little piece of information on the public Monday, December 5.
Before Alejandro Mayorkas changed the rules to suit his whims, “only Haitians who had arrived in the U.S. before July 29, 2021 were eligible for TPS.” The problem with that is the rest would need to be immediately deported. We can’t have that.

“The new designation will allow those living in the country as of November 6 of this year to apply for the program.” In other words, all of them.
Buried in the press release was a little note that the palace also decided to “push back the expiration date for the Haiti TPS program from February 4, 2023 to August 3, 2024.” They hope to hold on to control of government at least that long.
“Officials stressed that Haitians thinking of coming to the U.S. illegally should not do so, as they would not qualify for the program and could face deportation.” Just stroll right in through the front door. They get those special tickets that let them go straight to the front of the line like they hand out for a bad experience at Disneyland.
Not permanent, yet
Joe Biden’s handlers actually think the public will believe they aren’t simply being granted “amnesty.” Everybody knows that once they get here, they won’t be going anywhere. Meanwhile they try to assure everyone that they can do this because the TPS was created by Congress all the way back in 1990.
Those three little magic letters provide “deportation protections and work permits to immigrants from countries experiencing armed conflict, environmental disasters and other humanitarian emergencies.” Haitians count but Venezuelans don’t. Not anymore. They fell out of political favor.
All the Haitians in Haiti are welcome to apply because “the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere” has “long been plagued by crushing poverty, political turmoil, gang violence and devastating natural disasters.”

They have the kind of government that Joe Biden can only dream of, where “intensifying warfare between violent gangs” rages while police “struggle to maintain some semblance of order.” The asylees should feel right at home in Philadelphia.
The real reason behind letting in all the Haitians is because Democrats are having a hard time finding domestic help willing to work long hours for starvation wages. “At a time when we have labor shortages and high inflation, they are on the frontlines providing essential services to our nation.”
After Border Patrol agents were falsely accused of “whipping” one group as they entered illegally, they cracked down hard. “The Biden administration’s TPS policy is a stark departure from the Trump administration, which tried to end the designations for several countries.“
