A man that has been missing since November 2021 has been found.
Sadly, the story does not have a happy ending.
The body of Beau Mann was found only about a mile from the last place he was seen.
His remains have been sent to the coroner to determine his cause of death.
Sad Day
Mann was the ultimate comeback story.
A man who once struggled with addiction who created an app for addicts to stay in touch and keep tabs on each, be it with their real names or anonymously.
The app, Sober Grid, was very successful, and it will continue on even though Mann is gone.
His family stated, “His identity was confirmed through dental records. At this point, we have no further details on what led to his death.
“Beau was a beautiful soul who spent the better part of his life helping others.
“We miss his infectious smile and positive attitude every day.
“We know his spirit will live on through his company and passion, Sober Grid, as it continues to help those struggling with the grip of addiction.”
The last trace of Mann was on a November 30 Uber ride.
He went to a local 7-Eleven by work, grabbed his Uber to Santa Monica, and he was never heard from again.
His family said he had texted 9-1-1 from the Uber, but nobody knows why.
