Donald Trump is now calling on the Supreme Court to rescue him.

Trump recently posted on Truth Social that the Supreme Court needs to intervene on his behalf.

Precedent in this matter, however, would suggest that Trump would not get the desired result.

History Says….

Trump posted on Truth Social, “CRAZY! My political opponent has hit me with a barrage of weak lawsuits, including D.A., A.G., and others, which require massive amounts of my time & money to adjudicate.

“Resources that would have gone into Ads and Rallies, will now have to be spent fighting these Radical Left Thugs in numerous courts throughout the Country.

“I am leading in all Polls, including against Crooked Joe, but this is not a level playing field. It is Election Interference, & the Supreme Court must intercede. MAGA!”

Trump Attorney John Lauro added, “Everything that President Trump did was while he was in office as president.

“He is now immune from prosecution for acts that he takes in connection with those policy decisions.”

That statement, however, is inaccurate.

Many of the charges Trump is facing are for things that were done after he left the White House.

Specifically, allegedly sharing classified information as well as obstruction of justice.

Trump has already lost a similar case on this front, and we know for a fact that Chief Justice John Roberts believes that once Trump left office, his immunity is gone.

Furthermore, precedents that were set when Nixon was in office show that the Supreme Court does not believe any president has absolute immunity, so even the allegations against Trump when he was in office are up for debate.

This case is one of two cases that could end Trump’s quest for the White House.

If he is found guilty in this case, per the 14th Amendment, he would be ineligible to hold any office in this country ever again.
