Donald Trump just had a reality bomb dropped right in his lap.
Trump has been hitting DeSantis hard over the last few weeks even though DeSantis has not yet announced.
Those attacks are having the opposite effect he desires, however, as it is DeSantis that is growing in popularity, not Trump.
All He Does Is Win
DeSantis has ignored Trump’s attacks, only addressing them when the media brings them up.
Even then, he is responding in generalities rather than addressing Trump directly.
This is getting Trump even more upset, making him lash out again, but the attacks are hurting Trump, not helping him.
The latest rant by Trump stated, “Ron DeSanctimonious wants to cut your Social Security and Medicare.
[DeSantis] “closed up Florida & its beaches, loves RINOS Paul Ryan, Jeb Bush, and Karl Rove (disasters ALL!), is backed by Globalist’s Club for NO Growth, Lincoln Pervert Project, & ‘Uninspired’ Koch — And it only gets worse from there.”
He continued, “He is a RINO in disguise!, whose Poll numbers are dropping like a rock. Good luck Ron!”
First, this line of attack makes no sense by Trump.
Trump backed Ronna McDaniel and stood on stage with Lindsey Graham, so if he wants to talks about RINOs.
Second, DeSantis has NEVER said a single word about cutting social security and Medicare.
Third, Trump was president and stood in front of the country and told everyone to shut it down for 15 Days to Slow the Spread, then extended that program, remember that?
DeSantis was the first governor to push back and reopen long before the government recommended doing so.
Finally, you cannot control who endorses you, as Trump very well knows as someone that was endorsed by the KKK, so that is just a fruitless venture.
With every attack and lie by Trump, DeSantis climbs the polls and Trump drops, so keep it up, Donnie, and you will be the one to put DeSantis in the White House.
