Donald Trump knows that Governor DeSantis is his biggest competition moving into the 2024 cycle.
Even though DeSantis has not yet announced, the assumption is that he will jump in around late May or early June.
Trump is not waiting that long.
Trump put out a video no DeSantis, but it did not go over as planned.
Bad Move
I have never understood why our politicians shred each other during the primary season.
It is like doing opposition research for the other party.
In an ideal world, they all tout their agendas and debate the issues without throwing mud.
If they do that, they all come out of the primary clean and can support the eventual winner.
Trump always complained about how nasty the political world can be, but then he put this video out on DeSantis…

Now, keep in mind, DeSantis and Trump were friends at one point, not to mention Trump endorsed DeSantis and has been complimentary of him in the past.
