Former President Donald Trump continues to remain in the headlines, but not just for the political persecution he’s facing. Trump is dominating in the polls and has been for quite some time…in fact, he’s leaving all other Republican candidates in the dust with his percentages.
As if this wasn’t enough to shock Fox Business viewers, it appears that they tried to hide Trump’s lead over President Joe Biden of two points and DeSantis’ lead over Biden of three points.
This was revealed by a poll conducted by Fox News which showed Trump leading Biden 48%-46%. However, when this was displayed on-screen, it made it seem as though Trump was lagging behind instead of being ahead.
Trump could not contain his anger upon seeing how his results were presented and spoke out against Fox through his Truth Social platform saying “Why won’t Fox (Fox & Friends!) show the National Poll that THEY just did. They refuse to put it up, even after spending all of that money. SHOW THE POLL!!! If they don’t show it, I’ll put it up later!”
It is also worth noting an ABC News poll which shows a much larger gap between Trump and Biden – 10 points in favor of the former president – proving just how strong he remains amongst voters in spite of everything going on around him.
Interestingly enough, around this same time period (and seemingly unrelated) Rupert Murdoch announced his retirement from his role as Chairman of both Fox Corporation and News Corp.
However, some people speculated whether or not this decision came about due to pressure from President Donald Trump himself.
As he put it: “Many people are saying that ‘You forced Rupert Murdoch into retirement!’ I do not believe this is so…”
Be this true or false, one thing is certain: Mr. Murdoch will still remain involved in ‘the contest of ideas’ moving forward although likely in different capacities than before now.
