The voters have spoken and they demand law and order. Imperial Leader Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. took to the airwaves on Wednesday, supposedly to reassure anxious Democrats about the bloodbath their policies took in Tuesday’s round of primary and special elections. What he said only threw them further into panic. He’s actually daring to defend police.
Voters feel crushed by crime
The oppressive crime wave plaguing Democrat controlled jurisdictions is crushing voters under the burden. Honest, law abiding citizens are now forced to fend for themselves.
If they want peace and security, they need to go out and buy a “piece.” Their local arms dealer will set them straight. They know the score down at the gun shop.
Before he stumbled up the steps of Air Force One, on his way to sunny California – for the Summit of the Americas which nobody else is attending, His Wisdom offered some words of advice to the masses. Get more money out to the cops and do it now. In typical Joe Biden fashion, he doesn’t realize that’s too late.
The real problem, voters fully understand, isn’t red-tape entangled cops. The thing that has civilization in avalanche-like collapse is the failure of liberal prosecutors to bring serious charges or accept appropriate sentences.
“I think the voters sent a clear message last night,” Biden declared on Wednesday, June 8. They want both parties to “step up and do something about crime.”
He seems to forget that Republicans have been screaming that all along. Joe’s been trying to get cash into the hands of cops for months but nobody wants to cooperate. He calls it his American Rescue Plan.
Throw money at it
Joe’s solution is the standard one of Democrats everywhere, throw money at it. What about inflation? Voters ask. Oh, forget about it, the fed can handle that. Getting down to the root cause might put progressive policies in a bad light.
That’s why he didn’t talk about the little recall election they had in San Francisco. To distract away from that, he threw a Molotov cocktail at the DNC. He wants to throw “billions of dollars” at the police.
Joe’s suggestion to “to hire police officers and reform the police departments” fell flat with a thud. “Very few have done it,” he complained Wednesday. “In addition to that, I sent Congress a request for $300 million in this year’s budget to deal with hiring costs.” The idea’s been shelved.
Voters appreciate that the cops could use cash and resources to hire more officers but it would be nice if the media stopped portraying all of them as Nazi assassins. It kind of makes the hiring process difficult.
Biden refused to talk about the overwhelming number of liberal Democrat San Francisco voters who decided to yank do-nothing District Attorney Chesa Boudin out of office, in a special recall election.
That’s what happens when you decriminalize crime. Meanwhile a little further south down the left coast, tough on crime candidate for mayor, Rick Caruso, won his Republican contest to face off against Democrat Karen Bass in November.
