When Brittni Medina and her family visited Disneyland in Anaheim, California recently, an unfortunate altercation occurred that sparked a heated debate.

The mother of two was nursing her 10-month-old son while standing in line when two women began to criticize her for breastfeeding in public.

Rather than ignore the comments, Medina decided to take revenge and have her husband snap a photo with the women’s disapproving faces perfectly captured on camera.

She later posted the image online along with a recounting of the incident which quickly went viral.

It seems this is simply a case of “live and let live” as many people have weighed in on both sides of the argument.

Medina had been standing in line at Disneyland when her infant son began to get hungry and she began nursing him openly without asking anyone to hold her spot for fear she would lose it.

This did not please some of those around her; two women allegedly made loud comments saying that she should go somewhere more private to feed the baby.

In response, Medina asked her husband to take a picture which ended up capturing their disapproving faces.

She then took to Facebook with this image and recounted what happened which caused an uproar among social media users as many supported both sides of this argument equally passionately.

In addition to posting the picture taken by her husband, Medina wrote about how no woman should be shamed for feeding their baby uncovered regardless of where they are located.

She further revealed that she used to cover up while breastfeeding but stopped doing so because others were still judging her harshly no matter what she did about it or how discreetly it was done.

She concluded by saying that people need to stop looking for reasons to be angry instead focusing on themselves rather than worrying about what others are doing wrong or right.

Most people agreed with this statement and praised Medina for being comfortable enough with herself not only do something like breastfeed out in public but also stand up against discrimination if necessary.

While most commended Brittni over confronting discrimination directly instead of choosing silence, many believed there were better ways of dealing with such situations without having resorting into negative attention-seeking tactics like posting pictures online.
