Conservatives are in shock over a Supreme Court decision that came down.
The case was to fight concealed carry gun laws being put in place in New York.
Not only did gun retailers lose their case, there was not even a dissenting opinion.
Shocker
The gun law was to prohibit the carrying of weapons for those licensed to carry firearms in what the state is describing as “sensitive areas.”
That being stadiums, houses of worship, museums, parks and other public places.
There are also more stipulations being put on gun retailers that the industry believes will crush the industry.
Paloma Capanna, the lead attorney for the New York gun retailers, stated, “We are disappointed that not one of the nine justices saw fit to grant the plaintiffs some stay of enforcement of the new laws against them.
“We are challenging the ability of the state of New York to target dealers in firearms in the lawful stream of commerce, to put them out of business, which is what the new laws will do.
“So it really was unfortunate to see that we couldn’t get any emergency temporary injunction against those laws.”
As we noted above, there were no dissenting opinions in the case.
