Earlier this morning, Fox 2 News reported a possible new coronavirus case in Illinois.
Per the Fox 2 News report, “Belleville Memorial Hospital has referred a patient to the Illinois Department of Public Health for possible risk of having coronavirus. After an inquiry from Fox 2 News last night, a BJC spokesperson for Belleville Memorial Hospital released the following statement:
“Following guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, BJC HealthCare hospitals have processes in place to screen patients for risk of coronavirus, or COVID-19.
Based on medical symptoms and travel history, patients may be referred for further laboratory testing. Belleville Memorial Hospital has referred one patient to the Illinois Department of Public Health for testing and is expecting results in the next few days.”
The Illinois Department of Health has stated the coronavirus is NOT spreading in local communities or throughout the United States.
This announcement comes only a day after a case was reported in California, the first of unknown origin.
The patient, however, was a stewardess from an overseas flight who arrived in California.
This, too, has created a bit of panic, knowing she could have infected others on the flight.
Dems Weaponizing the Emergency
I want to be clear, this is something we all need to be careful about and continue to take the precautions outlined by the CDC to help prevent possible infection.
Democrats, however, are trying to sensationalize the problem and are making it far worse with their theatrics.
Rather than working with Trump on this, Democrat leadership has gone on the attack…

So, let me present a possible scenario.
The Trump administration has been working to better understand the problem and has our experts already assigned to address the virus.
(This was actually made quite clear during Trump’s press conference yesterday.)
Quarantines are in place where needed, travel restrictions are already in place, and our agencies have been developing a plan.
Is it possible that prior to going to Congress to ask for money, Trump wanted to get a better handle on the situation so he actually knew the amount of money that would be needed rather than just asking for a blank check?
Dems have hammered him on this and have recommended almost four times what the administration asked for, but I would love to know what they base that figure on.
Additionally, unless they plan on spending the money overnight, is it not reasonable to assume that after they went through about 75 percent of the funding the agencies could ask the president for more money if they needed it?
I would also ask if this was so urgent, why didn’t a single Democrat propose a funding bill before Trump made his request.
Basically, by complaining in this fashion, they are admitting they would have waited for as long as needed to ensure they could use the coronavirus as a political weapon against Trump.
Dems are doing two things here… they are creating panic and they are causing the economy to crash, both of which they need to win the White House come November.
The brutally honest truth is that there may or may not be a major outbreak here in the United States simply because there is no vaccine yet.
If people are not taking the proper precautions, this could spread, without a doubt. If that happens, though, as our agency representatives stated yesterday, they are ready for and have measures in place to deal with it if it does happen.
What the Dems are doing is not what we need right now. We need calm, collected heads working together, not throwing blame or trying to create panic, but power is far too important to Democrats to even consider doing that.
Has the time arrived?
Maybe it will require an event like a major medical emergency for the people of the this nation to fully realize what many of us military veterans and cops have come to know during our service. The one greatest threat facing the American people are the incompetent/corrupt politicians, bureaucrats, academicians, and media in the seats of power across this nation. In that we have for the first in our history a true Battle Captain and leader sitting in the office of the Presidency, I propose we form an army of veterans and other true Americans. Under his leadership we will march on all the centers of power across the nation with one mission. To clean the swamps across this nation and rebuild each government with personnel dedicated to serve us within the parameters we provide or face criminal/civil consequences for failure!
