There is nothing better than seeing Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) embarrassed on national TV.
The big knock against the Trump indictment has been how politicized it has been from the outset.
To make matters worse, now Democrats are fundraising off it, with Adam Schiff being at the top of that list.
Believe it or not, MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell called out Schiff on this very subject.
Dirty Politics
So, we expect Trump to fundraise off of this because he is the “victim.”
With Democrats fundraising off it, however, it kind of sends a message that it is all theater.
That that point, Mitchell stated, “Has this criminal allegation, this indictment, already become too political?
“Donald Trump is raising, you know, a fortune, more than a million dollars – million and a half or more – just on the threat of the indictment.”
Then she called out Schiff for doing the same, stating, “Large number of politicians, you know, are doing that. You are fundraising on it.”
Then came the spin, with his savior of the world nonsense, stating, “Look, I think that this is going to be certainly a political issue in terms of defending the rule of law on the one side, in terms of I think subverting the rule of law on the other, but the most important point for me is that this is affirmation of the fact that no one should be above the law, that we all held to account, that this is someone who has escaped accountability now for years and years.
“And yeah, so I’m going to speak out on it. Other people are going to speak out on it.”
He continued, “I’m going to be pushing back against what Kevin McCarthy and Jim Jordan are trying to do in the House by running interference and trying to stop or somehow impede or discredit this investigation.
“That’s a continuing and important part of the work I’ve been doing to defend our democracy.”
The man is a con artist and thankfully, after the end of this term, he will be gone.
He decided to run for a Senate seat but he is up against a juggernaut that I just do not see him defeating.
I cannot wait to say goodbye and good riddance to this clown.
Sadly, if does lose his election, he will probably wind up spewing his rhetoric on CNN or MSNBC.
