Gatestone Institute Senior Fellow Gordon Chang warns that Armageddon could begin any moment now, “in the next few hours.” The ruling regime seriously underestimates how ticked off the Pooh Bear is over Nancy Pelosi’s rogue meddling in the affairs of Taiwan.
China ready for war now
Gordon Chang is “urging Biden to prepare Americans for war.” When Taiwan shot down a drone over the Taiwan Strait it was a big deal.
The Chinese are serious about shielding their territory from Democracy and Democrats can’t accept that. Joe Owes Xi an apology for Pelosi but has no intention of giving one. Instead, he throws gas on the fire.

The brass doesn’t seem to realize that when China lined tanks up on the beach closest to Taiwan, they were serious about going to war. As China keeps telling us to stay away from the touchy politics of the region and ramping up military drills, our generals and admirals are “retiring ships and planes.”
It’s crystal clear to experts like Mr. Chang, they “need to be ready for a conflict with China in the next few hours, not five years from now.”
PLA on high alert now
While Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan was still nothing but a rumored threat, China declared the water between the island and the mainland off limits to international transit. Joe Biden defied their edict and sailed the Benfold through. Then Nancy followed through with her threat and really did show up.
Since then, relations between Beijing and Washington hit new record lows. On Sunday, August 28, we sent more warships through the disputed waters and act like it’s “nothing out of the ordinary.” We’re on the brink of war and nobody in charge acts like they understand that concept.

The two guided missile cruisers are basically a message to Xi Jinping saying “UP YOURS” in all caps. After Pelosi got her 15 minutes of fame, “three other delegations of American lawmakers have since visited, each prompting angry responses from Beijing.” Joe is acting like he wants World War III to break out.
As South China Morning Post writes, “these are far from ‘ordinary‘ times. There is every need for restraint and caution and the US and its allies have to refrain from escalating tensions.”
If Joe really wanted to prevent a war, he would be doing something to tie down the loose cannons in congress and issuing a formal apology to China promising to stay out of their affairs. Since that doesn’t look likely, now’s a good time to remind everyone, “duck and cover” when you see the flash.
