Rupert Murdoch, 92 years old, is transitioning out of his roles at Fox Corporation and News Corp.
He informed colleagues via letter that he would still be healthy enough for this transition when it officially begins in November.
In this same letter he expressed great pride for what was achieved through these decades long careers, thanking all those who have stayed dedicated even if their contributions have gone unseen outside of the company.
Having seen much success within these companies, Rupert is confident that opportunities far exceed commercial challenges right now and he plans to remain involved daily in contests over free speech and freedom of thought every day going forward as Chairman Emeritus.
In addition to announcing his stepping down as CEO, a new face has been added to the morning line-up on “Fox & Friends” – Lawrence Jones.
People magazine first reported this with co-hosts Ainsley Earnhardt and Brian Kilmeade welcoming him alongside fill-in host Pete Hegseth expressing excitement about this opportunity being offered at 30 years old – stating that it was also his first national TV appearance when he was 20 years old.
Earnhardt praised him highly saying they had watched many successes come from him already along with loving Texas, family values and most importantly God which she believes makes him fit perfectly into this role.
Gavin Hadden (senior vice president of morning programming) issued a statement expressing how valuable Lawrence’s insight has become to FOX & Friend’s audience thus far so they are excitedly awaiting welcoming him into their family each morning.
