Former FBI Agent Pleads Guilty to Russian Conspiracy

FBI

Charles McGonigal, the corrupt FBI agent who manufactured “the Trump campaign’s alleged ties to Moscow in 2016,” decided to change his plea to guilty. While falsely trying to frame Donald Trump for non-existent Russian collusion, he was colluding with Russia.

FBI conspirator admits guilt

One of the FBI rats guarding the government cheese decided to save everyone the time and effort of denying guilt. Charles McGonigal is taking “a guilty plea in the case accusing him of illegally working for a Russian oligarch.” You may recognize the name of the billionaire who was giving the bureau orders, Oleg Deripaska.

Manhattan federal Judge Jennifer Rearden took official notice on August 7, writing a minute entry to note “the court has been informed that defendant Charles McGonigal may wish to enter a change of plea.

She set a hearing to kick it around on August 15. Nobody trusts the FBI and she wants to make sure nobody’s trying to sneak anything past her. The federal prosecutors have been getting their hands slapped over and over for abuse like that.

Recently, Hunter Biden’s plea deal fell through when his judge got the chance to take a good look at it. There were some funky custom terms, some of which don’t even seem legal.

McGonigal was once known as the “top FBI counterintelligence agent based in New York.” He’s ready to accept responsibility for “money laundering and violating U.S. sanctions.” Back in the day, he was working closely with Russian billionaire Oleg Deripaska to “get him taken off of the U.S. sanctions list.

Oleg didn’t bribe the right people. Yelena Baturina had much better luck by going direct to Hunter Biden. She’s one of only two big Russians who haven’t been sanctioned at all.

Ignore the laws

When you work for the FBI, you’re allowed to ignore the law. Or so McGonigal was somehow led to believe. Thumbing your nose at justice now requires a pass from Merrick Garland. Rumors say you have to give him a split.

The law said that McGonigal was supposed to report to the bureau “his contact with foreign officials.” He knew he couldn’t do that because his ties were illegal. So, he covered up all the “business and overseas travel that conflicted with his job.

The four specific charges that McGonigal will be pleading guilty to are “conspiring to violate and evade U.S. sanctions, money laundering, conspiring to commit money laundering and conspiring to violate federal law against doing business with sanctioned individuals.

He may still face charges in connection with the FBI Crossfire Hurricane frame up of Donald Trump and associated election interference charges. We won’t find out until Congress gets done with him. That’s on top of $225,000 he’s separately indicted for taking “from a former member of Albania’s intelligence service and taking a secret meeting with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.

The judge is trusting McGonigal to run around loose with a $500,000 bond. While conspiring with Russians, McGonigal “played a central role” in Russiagate. His lies “ultimately led to Robert Mueller getting appointed as special counsel to probe potential Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

Now, we know that there was meddling. Hillary Clinton tried to rig the election and the FBI helped her do it. After that, the DOJ and CIA helped to cover it up.
