It seems pretty clear that the media is now working against Governor Ron DeSantis.
He seems to be facing all the same hurdles that Trump did when he ran for president for the first time as well as in 2020.
The latest attack being a member of the media challenging him for not spending enough time with voters.
Are You Blind?
At every event that I have seen lately, DeSantis has come down off the stage and talked to attendees.
I cannot speak for how much time he is spending, but the vibe about this on social media has been very positive.
The media has been on the attack, however.
AP’s Steve Peoples went after DeSantis after a New Hampshire event.
He asked, “Why not take any questions from voters, governor?”
DeSantis, who has never had time for reporters pushing a false narrative snapped.
He stated, “People are coming up to me, talking to me.
“What are you talking about?
“Are you blind? Are you blind?”
Very cockily, Peoples responded, “I’m not blind.”
DeSantis fired back, “OK, so people are coming up to me, talking to me [about] whatever they want to talk to me about.”
Super PAC Never Back Down also fired back, stating, “This is the same Associated Press reporter who just a couple weeks ago spread the easily debunked lie that ‘DeSantis made little effort to connect with voters.’”
We would expect this to continue with behind-the-scenes whispers from Democrats that as much as they complain about Trump, they feel he is their best shot for Biden to win.
