We all know that Donald Trump has already declared for the 2024 election.
However, he is the only one to have done so.
Having said that, Trump is already laying down the gauntlet, literally threatening Ron DeSantis if he runs.
I’ll Handle Him
Donald Trump will not back off the idea that Ron DeSantis owes his entire political career to Donald Trump.
As such, Trump believes that DeSantis is subservient to him.
Trump was on a podcast with David Brody this week when he issued what sure sounded like a threat to me.
He stated, “So, now I hear he might want to run against me, so we’ll handle that the way I handle things.”
Trump later added, “There’s great disloyalty is the world of politics, and that’s a sign of disloyalty.”
Then Trump proceeded to pat himself on the back, stating, “Because nobody — as you know better than anybody because you do such a great job — nobody has ever done more for right-to-life than Donald Trump.”
Trump recently slammed the pro-life movement and dismissed all criticism of the vaccine, which may not sit well with some conservatives.
I supported Trump in 2016 and 2020, but I firmly believe the time has come to come on.
DeSantis, in my eyes, is a lock for the White House if he runs in 2024.
Trump, regardless of what polls say about the primary, is a coinflip at best with any Democrat in a general election.
DeSantis seems like a no-brainer to me to keep the MAGA movement alive and get back the White House.
