Nobody noticed Casey White having phone sex with a guard four times a day. Everyone in Lauderdale County, Alabama, was totally shocked when the jail’s assistant director of corrections, Vicky White, helped the dangerous inmate to escape. It was so far out of character for her that all of her co-workers were convinced she had been abducted against her will. Vicky wasn’t as sweet and innocent as everyone thought, leading a double life in her spare time.
Insatiable phone sex
Nobody had a clue they spoke “hundreds of times by phone before his escape and most of the calls were sexually explicit.” Officials admitted it on Thursday, September 15. Earlier this year, authorities across America were on an 11-day manhunt for escaped inmate Casey White and the jail official who helped him escape.
Vicky White had everyone fooled. She carefully planned her retirement, spending all her savings to fund her lover’s escape.
According to Lauderdale County Sheriff Rick Singleton, so far, his investigators have been forced to endure listening to “a little more than half of the 949 calls that Vicky White and Casey White made to each other.”

The freaky phone sex occurred between August 2021 and February 2022, “while he was in prison at the William Donaldson Correctional Facility.” Prosecutors are getting ready to put him on trial.
They started getting frisky with each other on the phone while Casey was doing time for “a series of 2015 crimes that included a home invasion, a carjacking and fleeing police.” While in jail, he also admitted a killing. The 2015 murder of Connie Ridgeway. In February, he was moved to Lauderdale County jail.
Vicky White was serving as assistant director of corrections there. She had been on the job almost two decades and was getting ready to retire with a flawless record. “April 29, the day that was supposed to be Vicky White’s last before retiring, she and Casey White vanished.”
No escape plans
The deputies have to go through all the recordings to figure out how the pair planned his escape. After reviewing half the calls, they haven’t heard a word about planning. “So far we haven’t found anything in relation to the escape. Most of it is basically phone sex. That averages out to about four times a day.”
A schedule like that means she must have had her hand down her pants while she was supposed to be on the job rather frequently. She should have known better. “She’d been on the job 17 years,” Singleton fumes. “She’d seen young officers come in and get manipulated. Everyone’s been approached. We tell them to be ready for it, and she’d be the one that would coach them.”
In early July, tips led to the location of the couple and police moved in. They tried to escape and after wrecking their car, Casey was taken back into custody. Vicky apparently shot herself at the last moment. As Casey told police he didn’t do it, he called Vicky White his “wife.”
The press has been going out of their way to report that they were never blood relatives. They never apparently got officially married either but they certainly had that arrangement in the end, official or not. They had enough phone sex to clear that hurdle and reportedly enjoyed the real thing on their brief “honeymoon” on the run.
Other jail inmates were well aware that she gave Casey special treatment but none of the guards noticed a thing. Fellow prisoners confirm “she ensured he was getting extra food on his trays” and “was getting privileges no one else got.”
Now we know that those extra privileges included hot and steamy phone romps four times a day. The current batch of guards don’t even like looking at him.
