Conservative Senator Charles Grassley was so upset when he heard that the FBI tried to run a magic marker over “bombshell” evidence just to cover it up, he exposed it. Grabbing his copy of the disputed FD-1023 form… which isn’t classified, came from a whistleblower and doesn’t have a single redaction… he went on the Senate floor and read part of it. Specifically, the part the Federal Bureau of Instigation tried to hide. The Iowa Senator’s still furious over the way Christopher Wray gave him the finger, last year, to jet off to his favorite fishing hole instead of answering a few questions.
Grassley exposes FBI deception
Charles Grassley is a well seasoned watchdog who takes his role as the “senior” U.S. Senator in earnest. When he saw the dirty trick the FBI tried to pull, he couldn’t let it stand. Claiming that leaving certain portions of the disputed witness interview report unredacted would compromise “sources and methods,” Christopher Wray’s underlings blacked out the part which really puts the bureau on a spot. Not a word they tried to hide has anything to do with sources or methods. It was a set of statements made by Burisma Holdings owner Mykola Zlochevsky.
He has 17 audio recordings to confirm all the dirty details of his arrangements with Joe and Hunter Biden. He kept them as a sort of “insurance policy.” The FBI didn’t want Congress to know that they knew about them. Knowing about them would automatically require investigating them. If they were found to be true, that would require putting Joe Biden and Hunter Biden in prison. They apparently knew the whole story long before Joe usurped the Oval Office.
In a “stunning” floor speech on Monday, June 12, Grassley exposed the blatant attempt to obstruct a congressional investigation. The parts of the FD-1023 form which the full Committee were eventually allowed to view spelled out all the details of a bribe. As Vice President, Joe Biden had it in his power to make Mykola Zlochevsky’s biggest problem go away. That would be Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin.

He spoke about the arrangements in the presence of a well paid and highly credible FBI rat. The rat dutifully reported that Zlochevsky claimed he split $10 Million between Joe and Hunter Biden. He also hired Hunter and his partner Devon Archer for $1 million per year, each. In exchange, Joe promised to make his problem go away. He did. The part the FBI tried to hide was when the rat reported that Zlochevsky had tapes to back it all up. Since then, his chief accountant died under mysterious circumstances.
“Congress still lacks a full and complete picture with respect to what that document really says,” Grassley explained to his colleagues. “That’s why it’s important that the document be made public without unnecessary redactions for the American people to see.”
Before he read it, he accused the bureau of intentionally obstructing an investigation. He then went on to demonstrate the meaning of the word “transparency.”
Transparency means expose truth
“Let me assist for purposes of transparency,” Senator Grassley began. “The 1023 produced to that House Committee redacted reference that the foreign national who allegedly bribed Joe and Hunter Biden allegedly has audio recordings of his conversations with them. Seventeen total recordings.” He’s not making this up and the Just Us Department has been sitting on it for years.
“According to the 1023, the foreign national possesses fifteen audio recordings of phone calls between him and Hunter Biden. According to the 1023, the foreign national possesses two audio recordings of phone calls between him and then-Vice President Joe Biden.”
After he allowed that to soak in, he continued, “these recordings were allegedly kept as a sort of insurance policy for the foreign national in case he got into a tight spot. The 1023 also indicates that then-Vice President Joe Biden may have been involved in Burisma employing Hunter Biden.” That sounds a lot like illegal bribery. The job of the FBI is to look into things like that. Did they? Grassley asks. Who knows. Nobody’s talking.

Senator Ted Cruz destroyed Deputy Director Paul Abbate on Tuesday for refusing to confirm the tapes exist. Abbate also refused to answer whether or not the bureau even conducted an investigation on it, on the grounds his answer would tend to incriminate him.
Senator Grassley ended his speech by concluding “So, as I’ve repeatedly asked since going public with the existence of the 1023, what, if anything, has the Justice Department and FBI done to investigate? The Justice Department and FBI must show their work. They no longer deserve the benefit of the doubt.”
At this point, nobody can tell if “the FBI has possession of any of the purported tapes.” Because “Congress still lacks a full and complete picture with respect to what that document really says,” Grassley points out, “it’s important that the document be made public without unnecessary redactions.” He might just release it himself.
