A bail fund to assist “protesters” arrested in Minneapolis, promoted on Twitter by Democrat vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris, has freed a man accused of sexually molesting a child.
The Daily Caller News Foundation reported that court documents show the Minnesota Freedom Fund (MFF) helped a man get out of jail in July who is accused of sexually assaulting an eight year old girl.
Court documents also show that the MFF helped post bail in August for a man accused of assaulting a 71 year old woman while burglarizing her home. A week after his release, the man violated his bail. The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office told the Daily Caller News Foundation that there is still an active felony warrant for his arrest.
Another man was given support by the MFF who had allegedly robbed and stomped on a victim in Minneapolis on May 25th, on the same day that George Floyd died in police custody.
Senator Harris, Joe Biden‘s running mate, encouraged her supporters to donate to the fund in a tweet on June 1st, which was posted at the peak of the violent riots.
Harris’ tweet stated: “If you’re able to, chip in now to the @MNFreedomFund to help post bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota.”

The fund also supports defunding the police, according to Breitbart News.
The platform created by the “Biden-Sanders Unity Task Force” promises to “end cash bail” nationwide if Biden is elected.
