If you were watching the Friday night drama in the House, you were in for quite a treat.
Rep. Mike Rogers (R-AL) decided to act like a tough guy.
He acted like he was going after Rep. Gaetz (R-FL), one of the holdouts against McCarthy.

If you watched the video, however, this was all theater.
There was someone with their hand on Rogers shoulder long before he went after Gaetz, so that little rumble was never going to happen.
Regardless, Rogers apologized…

Now everyone is one big happy family, read to write and pass legislation that will never make it to the Senate floor.
The best this House can hope to accomplish is meaningful changes to House rules and some investigations.
