Herschel Walker has been taking massive hits in the Georgia Senate race.
He just took another one, and it is going to sting.
An anti-Trump GOP group dug up some old tape and used it in a hit ad against Walker.
However, I believe this could backfire just as much as it could hurt Walker.
Risky Move
The soundbite the group used is more than a decade old when Walker was having some very serious issues.
It comes from his ex-wife, Cindy DeAngelis Grossman.
The narrator tells people they don’t know the “real” Herschel Walker, so they should listen to what his ex-wife has to say about him.
Then the clip plays, where Grossman states, “His eyes would become very evil.
“The guns and knives. I got into a few choking things with him.
“The first time he held the gun to my head, he held the gun to my temple and said he was gonna blow my brains out.”
Chilling, to say the least, but Walker has never hidden from this dark time in his life, as he was the one that kicked this door open a long time ago.
He still keeps it open, stating, “I’m always accountable to whatever I’ve ever done.
“And that’s what I tell people: I’m accountable to it.”
According to Walker, he and Grossman have reconciled and are now very good friends.
The same cannot be said for Walker’s Democrat opponent, Senator Raphael Warnock (D-GA).
Warnock’s ex-wife claimed that he tried to run her over with a car as well as neglecting their children.
He is currently in the midst of a nasty court battle with her.
I can see a stage where these attacks continue against Walker and Grossman starts campaigning for him, inviting Warnock’s ex to do the same.
You see where I am going with this, right?
Like I said, these people better be cautious on this front because Warnock’s wounds are still very fresh on this front.
