Holy Smokes: Mike Pompeo Drops Explosive Announcement

Mike Pompeo Drops Explosive Announcement

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has dropped an explosive announcement. Following the recent realizations about the origins of COVID, Pompeo has revealed that the virology lab in Wuhan, China, was conducting military activity alongside its civilian research.

The left is finally catching on to something conservatives have known for a long time: COVID was not found in nature, it likely leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Now that it is once again acceptable to discuss this without the left screaming “conspiracy theorist” and advocating for social media to ban anyone who mentions it, more information has slowly been coming out.

“What I can say for sure is this: we know that they were engaged in efforts connected to the People’s Liberation Army inside of that laboratory, so military activity being performed alongside what they claimed was just good old civilian research,” Pompeo stated during an appearance on “Fox & Friends Weekend.”

“They refuse to tell us what it was, they refuse to describe the nature of either of those, they refused to allow access to the World Health Organization when it tried to get in there,” he added.

Mike Pompeo and Donald Trump had previously initiated an investigation into the origins of COVID, and of course, Joe Biden ended it upon taking office. Now, Biden has started a new investigation being conducted by the intelligence community, but they are relying on data from the communist Chinese-backed World Health Organization, so it’s unlikely that anything useful will come out of it.

The intelligence community is claiming that they are working “aggressively” to determine the origin of COVID, and that they are due to report back to Biden in the next 90 days.

“The U.S. Intelligence Community does not know exactly where, when, or how the COVID-19 virus was transmitted initially but has coalesced around two likely scenarios: either it emerged naturally from human contact with infected animals or it was a laboratory accident,” Assistant Director of National Intelligence for Strategic Communications Amanda Schoch said in a statement.

Now that the left has finally been forced to catch up with the facts, President Trump has declared himself to be vindicated. “Now everybody is agreeing that I was right when I very early on called Wuhan as the source of COVID-19, sometimes referred to as the China Virus,” the former president said in a statement.

While Trump was still president, the State Department released a fact sheet which warned that “a laboratory accident could resemble a natural outbreak if the initial exposure included only a few individuals and was compounded by asymptomatic infection.”

According to that fact sheet, Mike Pompeo may be right. “The United States has determined that the WIV has collaborated on publications and secret projects with China’s military,” the fact sheet reads.

“The WIV has engaged in classified research, including laboratory animal experiments, on behalf of the Chinese military since at least 2017,” it continues.

Pompeo also noted that it was important that the Biden administration conduct a real investigation into the origins of the pandemic and uncover what was going on at the Wuhan Institute.

“I’ve known since spring of last year, 2020, when I first spoke about this that there is enormous evidence that this escaped from that laboratory in Wuhan,” Pompeo said. “We know there were people who got sick there, scientists who got sick there, we know they were doing the gain of function research — essentially taking viruses and making them more contagious, potentially more lethal, this administration has to get after this.”
