Kamala Harris said something recently that I am sure is not going to make Governor Tim Walz feel good about being selected.
According to Harris, she was a bit sleep-deprived when she made the final call for her VP.
Needless to say, her critics unleashed, wondering if this is how Harris would make all important decisions if she wins this election.
Sleepless in DC
Harris appeared on the “All The Smoke” podcast to shed some light on how she came to pick Walz as her VP.
She stated, “From the time that the president called me and told me he wasn’t running, I mean, it’s just like everything was in speedy, speedy motion, and I was not sleeping so well.
“And that one morning I just, I mean, I had, I don’t know, a few hours’ sleep – and I, you know, I like to sleep. I just got up. I was like – so I just went out and got a pork roast and started marinating it.
“And my family were all going to be in town, so they were very happy about the whole situation, but I just got up and started — everybody’s asleep, I just got up and started cooking.”
Harris has since tried to distance herself from the administration by pitching herself as the candidate of change.
This is reportedly not sitting well with Biden, who is said to be throwing temper tantrums behind closed doors over Harris trying to remove herself from this administration.
In fact, there were even reports of Biden going off to say that he delegated everything to Harris.
This, of course, is only being aggravated by the fact that Biden has been all but removed from the picture in terms of campaigning for Harris.
I have seen reports that Harris’ advisers have recommended that she distance herself as much as possible from Biden if she wants to win.
I am just wondering that if they keep pushing Joe away, how much longer he can keep his mouth quiet because that temper will get the best of him at some point.
