How can the mayor of Chicago get the entire nation in an uproar?
Well, the mayor of one of the most violent cities in the country has just decided to give herself a monster pay raise.
Lightfoot put forth legislation to give the mayor an annual inflation raise, which would be capped at five percent.
Is She Kidding?
Lightfoot is currently hauling in $209,915.
She has yet to earn a single penny of that, but she is looking for more.
If her proposal goes through, she would be making $216,210 in May 2023.

Violent crime in her city is up 37 percent.
Auto thefts are up by 74 percent.
The homelessness problem is driving investors out of Chicago.
The most recent being Tyson foods, which is headed to Arkansas.
McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski even took a shot at her during a speech, stating, “We have violent crime that’s happening in our restaurants… we’re seeing homelessness issues in our restaurants.
“We’re having drug overdoses that are happening in our restaurants.
“So, we see in our restaurants, every single day, what’s happening in society at large.”
Lightfoot has turned the city over to thugs and she is driving out business, but she wants more money… the audacity of this woman.
