The Kennedy Center will feature a “huge celebration of the birth of Christ at Christmas.” They’re clearly under new management. President Donald Trump was infuriated that the national theater preferred drag show performances. In a fit of executive rage, he fired all the management and appointed himself Director. Then, he appointed his special diplomatic envoy, Richard Grenell, as president of the center. Ric had some enthusiastic news for CPAC.

Mark your calendar for a spectacular “celebration of the birth of Christ” this December at the Kennedy Center. When Richard Grenell made an appearance at this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference, he surprised everyone with the news.
Nobody even knew he had been appointed to run the place. Considering his background as America’s version of James Bond, he’s a perfect fit for the job.
It’s been a fast moving week since President Trump “took control of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington.” He’s too busy to plan the shows and events himself so he handed it over to his administration. They needed someone to hold the title of center president and instantly thought of Grenell.
He’s used to running with the elite crowd who patronize the center. Earlier in his career he was our Ambassador to Germany and Angela Merkel was practically in love with him.
When Grenell popped into CPAC he told the conservative gathering they would see a “big change” at the Kennedy Center. To prove it, he promised that “we are doing a big, huge celebration of the birth of Christ at Christmas.”
Democrats can’t seem to get their heads around the idea. That’s okay, just let it explode, conservatives recommend.
Celebrate Christ at Christmas
This year, there won’t be a “holiday” show at the Kennedy Center. “How crazy is it to think that we’re going to celebrate Christ at Christmas with a big traditional production,” Grenell ponders.
“To celebrate what we are all celebrating in the world during Christmastime, which is the birth of Christ?” Liberals don’t want to hear that. They run shrieking from the word in search of a progressive safe space and an industrial size can of Play-Doh.
Trump “stunned the cultural world when he decided this month to purge the center’s board of all Biden appointees and install himself as chairman.” That ticked off Kennedy Center’s largest donor.
Financier David M. Rubenstein won’t be picking up the tab any longer. The new board of directors “fired Deborah F. Rutter, the center’s president for more than a decade” and gave Ric Grenell her job.
Grennel brought her name up on stage at CPAC, “suggesting that she was paid too much and that she had left the center in poor financial health.” She was pulling in about $1.4 million a year. Grenell says he’s getting “way way way less.”
One thing patrons of the Kennedy Center will love about Grenell is he does get results. Recently, the special envoy jetted down to Venezuela for a short conversation with their president. He flew home with six Americans who were being held incognito.
