Thousands of unaccompanied migrant children may have ended up in the hands of sexual predators and human traffickers. Officials of the Biden regime handed them over to practically anyone who asked. The Department of Health and Human Services is launching an investigation.
Missing migrant kids
Joe Biden’s Office of Refugee Resettlement made migrant kids “easy targets” for predators. According to an internal memo, ORR “ignored obvious safety risks and prioritized quickly releasing the youths under the Unaccompanied Children Program.”
Joe apparently didn’t care who they were handing them over to.
The report is crammed full of “egregious cases where migrant sponsors provided images that were obviously fake or doctored in their applications to obtain custody of children.”
Nobody looked at them real hard. The crude forgeries “were seldom challenged by government staff tasked with protecting kids.”
One example has been making headlines. The “clearly photoshopped image” submitted by “a man who wanted custody of a migrant child” was meant to back up his claim that he was in a relationship with the child’s mother.
Her “feet were clipped off in the botched clip-art job.” Nobody noticed.
Any ID will do
The requirement said that potential sponsors had to show an ID. There was nothing in the rules which said the ID had to be theirs.
A recent investigation uncovered the case of a man who used “a Guatemalan photo ID that clearly was not him.” His card could have identified him as Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the United Federation of Planets and they would have handed him as many migrant kids as he wanted.
One pervert got exceptionally creative. Instead of trying to bring kids home to abuse, he went straight to the source and tried to blend in with the herd. A 23-year-old migrant “who claimed he was a minor” ended up penned in with actual children. Staff wrote up several incidents where he was asking kids: “You want to have sex?”
Alejandro Mayorkas spent disaster relief money to allow that to happen. “This was a heinous dereliction of duty by the Biden administration and must be immediately rectified in order to protect vulnerable children,” the report declares.
“It was all about getting them out of custody as quickly as possible from the time the Border Patrol encountered them, to the time ORR found sponsorship,” one disgruntled insider leaked. Since they were swamped with migrant children from all over the planet, “they were putting expediency over safety.” They knew there were problems.
“Despite investigators briefing Biden HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra’s chief of staff and deputy secretary about these horrific cases, the Biden administration allegedly took ‘no meaningful steps‘ to address the issue.” As of May 2024, “291,000 migrant children arrived in the US as unaccompanied minors who were set free without so much as a date to appear in immigration court, meaning there was no way to track their whereabouts.“
