The Biden regime has been under fire for their decision to pull troops out of Afghanistan.
In an upcoming book, “Kabul: The Untold Story of Biden’s Fiasco and the American Warriors Who Fought to the End”, damning details have been released regarding the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan.
It appears that Joe Biden missed multiple opportunities to prevent a devastating terrorist attack that killed 13 service personnel at Kabul airport in 2021 as well as over 70 civilians.
According to Daily Mail, military commanders were aware of potential threats in the days leading up to the suicide bombing but failed to act despite having two chances to take out the deadly network behind it.
The Taliban refused a request by US officers to raid a hotel known for being used by ISIS-K.
Additionally, plans for a drone strike in another location were vetoed due to fear of retaliation from the Taliban.
Jerry Dunleavy, one of the two authors behind this new book and an investigator helping lead the Afghanistan withdrawal investigation for House Foreign Affairs Committee had this statement regarding his findings: “Our findings…provide more damning evidence about the dangerous stupidity of relying upon terrorists like the Taliban.”
This was echoed by Sgt. Tyler Vargas-Andrews who testified before Congress last month stating that he was denied permission by superior officers before he could shoot Abdul Rehman, who killed 13 service members and 170 civilians after being set free by Taliban forces four years prior.
It is clear that Joe Biden had every opportunity available yet chose not to use them in order protect our troops and civilians.
As Dunleavy put it, intelligence channels sent several warnings just two days before the attack on Kabul airport yet nothing was done except ordering marines on their knees all night long so they would be less exposed if an explosion occurred.
