Patriot Earl Conlon had a dream, a vision, a revelation… maybe even a hallucination. Conlon envisioned tractor-trailer drivers circling the Washington D.C. beltway “three lanes deep” to seek the arrest of traitors in Congress for disregarding the Constitution. His dream almost came true. It still might.
Citizen’s arrest on Congress
By October of 2013, Every true American was fed up with the antics of Barack Obama and the corruption in Congress but Conlon made it crystal clear. “We are not going to ask for impeachment.” As he told Steven Nelson, a reporter at U.S. News & World Report, “we are coming whether they like it or not. We’re asking for the arrest of everyone in government who has violated their oath of office.”
“We want these people arrested, and we’re coming in with the grand jury to do it,” Conlon insisted. Just like John Durham was supposed to do. “We are going to ask the law enforcement to uphold their constitutional oath and make these arrests. If they refuse to do it, WE THE PEOPLE will find a way.” All indications are that this Wednesday is the perfect opportunity. We the people have found a way.
“What we want to do is go in nice and peaceful and keep it as peaceful as possible, but if they decide to get ugly with us we’re going to do what we have to do,” he said. “If all I get is one or two congressmen walked out of there in handcuffs, that will be a shot across the bow that will ripple across all branches of government. I hope they are all civil enough and brave enough to step out onto the congressional steps.”
Hoping the dream would come true
The Deep State fought back hard to protect the swamp and only a handful of trucks actually made it to D.C. Even so, millions of Americans were desperately hoping Conlon’s dream would come true. Patriots adorned overpasses coast-to-coast with American flags, as bikers, veterans and many other patriot groups all rallied behind the truckers to descend on the Nation’s capitol.
For every truck that actually circled the beltway that Columbus Day weekend, there were a thousand cheering patriots, waving flags, proudly displaying the #T2SDA symbol of solidarity and boycotting retailers. What they failed to accomplish then can become a reality on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Instead of circling the beltway three lanes deep, there should be enough patriots on hand to circle the Capitol Building three blocks deep, laying siege to Congress and literally place them under citizen’s arrest.
On November 16, 2013, Trucker protest organizer “General” Ernest Lee experienced a crippling setback when the RV he was traveling cross country in to keep spreading the word was firebombed just outside Kansas City. On his group’s Facebook page, Lee was calling for a large-scale turnover of seats in Congress. As he declared then, “our efforts in 2014 and 2016 will insure that We The People have succeeded in removing dozens of life-long corrupt politicians that long ago quit listening to the voters that put them there.” Those words still ring true today.
A peaceful solution
His RV was firebombed because Lee dared to expose the Deep State and had an army of patriots behind him. He called it a “tsunami” of citizen activism. Lee blamed both parties, as well as the US Supreme Court, for the sad state of the country. Even after being physically attacked and his life threatened, he remained committed to a “peaceful solution” to government intrusions on citizens’ rights. “We are at war for our rights, freedoms and protection of our future generations.”
The best option, at the time, to carry on the fight was with an “Article V Convention” of States to re-affirm and then amend the US Constitution. As General Lee observed, “protests in DC are mostly ignored by those in power, hence our plans to take this movement to each State Capitol where they don’t have protests regularly and our efforts will produce the results we desire.” Just as Black Lives Matter did all through 2020. The difference being that the Antifa-sympathizing anarchists burned and looted where the patriots have always shown restraint, even under attack. Lawless anarchy was ignored this summer while elected officials joined in the riots and fought to defund law and order.
The next milestone event was December 13th, 2013, when We The Truckers, led by Keith Migra of Right Side Media Network, picked up the torch – along with a custom made 3 panel copy of the Constitution on the back of a flat bed, at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Every image of that has been scrubbed from the interweb. A procession of patriots headed directly to Washington for a ceremony where American citizens proudly declared their support of our Constitution by symbolically signing it.
Negotiator in chief
Patriots continued to fight. In 2014 we gained control of both houses. Nothing happened. The year leading up to the election in 2016 started out stormy. On January 1, 2016, a group of Donald Trump supporters declared the Art of the Deal master to be their negotiator in chief and champion to fight the corruption.
“Uniting together as one voice: We hereby declare our allegiance to Donald Trump as our advocate, negotiator, and future president. As the only proposed candidate with a self-funded campaign, we recognize he has the demonstrated ability and resources to effectively maintain an agenda representing our interests, against the corruption and incompetence we are burdened with by our current alleged elected representatives.”
Along with that endorsement they formally declared Congress to be in breach of their Constitutional duty. Five years ago nearly to the day, Americans put congress on notice that this was their last chance to straighten up and fly right. The next day, Bundy Brothers Ammon and Ryan seized control of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Harney County, Oregon to constitutionally gather and call for a “redress of their grievances” under the First Amendment. The federal Government ended up murdering rancher Robert LaVoy Finicum. President Trump was elected in an overwhelming landslide.
Today, Earl’s vision is very much alive. The spark he struck leading up to Columbus Day weekend has spread across this country and ignited a flame of outrage that will not be quenched. Yes, Earl, We the people WILL find a way.
