Pete Buttigieg has made some pretty outrageous claims in order to win over Democrats, but this one really takes the cake.
While appearing in Las Vegas and pandering to black voters, Buttigieg claimed “white supremacy” will “totally destroy the American project.”
Not the Biggest Threat
Listen, I am not going to say racism does not exist and that white supremacists are not out there.
It would be ignorant to do so.
I will also not pretend to understand what its like to be black, or any other color for that matter, and face racism.
I will, however, say that I grew up in a racially diverse neighborhood that changed dramatically as I was growing up, making whites the minority in just a few years.
To that point, I understand the challenges we face as a society on this front and I can say, without question, in my opinion, racism is far from our biggest threat.
Democrats paint a different picture, but white supremacists in this country could not even fill up a stadium for a Dallas Cowboys game.
Seriously, does anyone think that because a dozen idiots with Nazi gear show up at a rally they are a true and real threat to this country?
They need to be dealt with, yes, but they are far from the biggest concerns for minorities and their future success.
But, hey, don’t take my word for it… why don’t we listen to someone that walks in those shoes tell you just how much of a challenge white supremacy is for black Americans…
Stop Insulting Minorities
Claims like that by Buttigieg, quite frankly, make me sick and I don’t understand how minorities are not more outraged by insulting comments like the one Buttigieg made.
All of these white candidates get up there to tell minorities how horrible white people are in this country.
They are pandering for votes and nothing else.
They tell minorities what they think they want to hear, then they do everything in their power to keep these communities down for the next four years.
Buttigieg was doing nothing more than stoking a fire that is burning out of control in this country, as Democrats throw around the terms racist and white supremacy like potato chips at a Super Bowl party.
The minorities I know want equal opportunity for hard work and not a single one of them has EVER mentioned white supremacy as a threat to their success or this country.
It really is time for our politicians to stop the theater and discuss issues that truly matter.
Comments like the one Buttigieg made only give these disgusting organizations more power, not less, and it re-energizes the racist problems that do exist in this country.
