More international drama unfolds as South Korea fires on North Korea.
Tension in North and South Korea
A naval ship controlled by the southern country sent warning shots at a North Korean boat that was on patrol. There is a stretch of water that both countries’ contest is theirs. It is located west of the Korean Peninsula.
Once the Southern boat fired, the Northern controlled boat retreated due to being open fired on. A second ship came in to play and South Korea took that ship and brought the seven Northern Koreans who were all adorned with military uniforms.
The disputed area is called the Northern Limit Line which has caused a lot of tension for years. According to the South Korean military, the Northerners who were captured allegedly said they accidentally waded over the Northern Limit Line.
Boundary Line Crossed
In 1953 the boundary line was established keeping the two nations separated.
Last year in September of 2021, Kim Jong Un, the North country’s dictator, had an incident with his sister threatening “complete destruction” of any cordial relations with the southern nation.
If the president joins in the slander and detraction (against us), this will be followed by counteractions, and the North-South relations will be pushed toward complete destruction, the dictator’s sister said. “We do not want that.”
Both countries had missile tests the same day just hours apart and this was the starting point of this particular tense exchange.
Donald Trump’s Foreign Relations
President Donald Trump was able to de-escalate Kim Jong Un but now with the Biden Administration, it is unknown how the relations with this country will go.
Trump was invited to visit North Korea and Biden can't even get India to return his phone call lol

Democrats and the media were mocked as President Trump tried to negotiate with other countries including Russia, China and North Korea. Despite the left saying, Trump would send us into a world war, he in fact did the opposite.
As tensions rise around the globe, North Korea may be a big player in upcoming tensions.
