George Santos’ rising star is now out.
It was recently revealed that virtually every claim made on his resume was a lie.
Now Democrats want him gone.
All Lies
The Santos win was a massive win for Republicans in New York.
Sadly, it seems as though leadership in the party knew that Santos was lying and allowed his campaign to roll right along.
A senior Republican aide stated, “As far as questions about George in general, that was always something that was brought up whenever we talked about this race.
“It was a running joke at a certain point.
“This is the second time he’s run and these issues we assumed would be worked out by the voters.”
After getting caught lying about his “Jewish” background, his employment, and his education, Santos has no intention of resigning.
He stated, “I didn’t graduate from any institution of higher learning. I’m embarrassed and sorry for having embellished my resume.
“I own up to that…We do stupid things in life.”
That is not holding up for Democrats, with just about every House Democrat calling for his resignation…

George Santos should resign as Congressman-elect. If he refuses, Congress should expel him. He should also be investigated by authorities.

I don’t see how leadership can possibly support him at this point.
If the party has any integrity at all, it will demand he resign or move forward with expelling him from the party. Anything less is hypocritical.
