I think it is safe to say that Ron DeSantis is officially living inside Donald Trump’s head rent-free.
Over the weekend, Donald Trump went on a rant on Truth Social about Ron DeSantis.
Around 1 a.m. Saturday, Trump unleashed a rant about “Meatball Ron.”

I have long maintained that primary elections should be about what you bring to the table.
I see no purpose in shredding fellow party members, then turning around and endorsing them come the general election.
Not only that, but it also gives the opposing party plenty of ammunition to use.
For instance, if Ron DeSantis runs and wins, the Dems will have a load of ads showing Trump calling DeSantis an “average governor.”
Yet, here is Trump, continuing to attack a man that has not even entered the presidential race yet…

He is acting unhinged, and it is not helping the party or his case.
Trump is once again getting people to the point that they will never vote for him if he comes out of the primary with the nomination, which is more than likely if it is a crowded field.
Trump is thinking small potatoes and neglecting the big picture, which is winning back the White House again in 2024.
He may route the primary field, but I just don’t see how he wins a general election with this strategy.
