What is one of the biggest concerns about the government taking over our healthcare?
That it gets to decide who gets coverage and who does not, which is exactly what Michael Bloomberg was caught saying on video about caring for our elderly.
Nothing We Can Do
As a society, one of the mainstays is that we take care of our elderly.
Bloomberg, however, seems to think they are a nuisance that should just be left to die if they are diagnosed with a disease like cancer.
While Blomberg was stumping, he made some rather disturbing comments about how we can save money on health care in this country.
According to Bloomberg, our society needs to get to a point that we can just send our elderly on their way and tell them to live the rest of their life as best they can.
He stated, “If you show up with cancer & you’re 95 years old, we should say…there’s no cure, we can’t do anything.
“A young person, we should do something. Society’s not willing to do that, yet.”
Don’t believe me?
Well, then, listen to it come right from the horse’s mouth…

Now, can you imagine trying to explain this to someone’s family that, sorry, Dad or Mom are too old for us to give them care?
Bloomberg has been clobbered as of late trying to explain away and apologize for comments he made from his past.
For some reason, the media is allowing him to get away with this nonsense, but that will not be the case this time.
These are recent comments, so clearly, Bloomberg feels our elderly simply do not deserve care.
The really ironic thing here is that Bloomberg is 78 years old, so when is the cutoff for him?
My guess is that as long as his bank account is full, he is going to get whatever care he wants.
